The NDIS is changing – but there’s no need to panic. On 19 August 2026, both Houses of Parliament agreed to the final text of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026, and it received Royal Assent on 20 August 2026, becoming Act No. 66 of 2026.
