Link Into Life provides NDIS-funded transport and ride support under Core Supports, helping participants access their community with confidence. We support teenagers, adults, seniors and people living with disability to travel safely and comfortably to appointments, community activities, social outings and everyday errands.

Our experienced and caring drivers understand individual support needs and provide respectful, reliable assistance every step of the way, promoting independence, connection and meaningful participation in everyday life.

How we can help

Link Into Life Transport Services provides safe, friendly, and reliable transport support that promotes independence and community access. Our services are designed to be flexible, cost-effective, and person-centred, ensuring every journey is comfortable and stress-free.

Transport Services

We provide assisted transport for a wide range of everyday needs, including:

  • Shopping and personal errands

  • Medical and therapy appointments

  • School and education transport

  • Social and community outings

  • Transport for pets to veterinary appointments

  • Other individual transport needs, as requested

How to Book

Booking with Link Into Life is simple:

  • Contact us via phone, email or talk to your Support Coordinator.

  • Provide trip details (date, time, location, support needs).

  • We confirm availability and pricing.

Service Area

We provide reliable transport services across Brisbane and surrounding areas within a 100 km radius. This includes suburbs and towns in the wider region, ensuring you can get to appointments, social outings or events with ease.

​Whether you’re travelling across the city or to neighbouring communities our team is committed to getting you there safely and on time.

NDIS Travel Policy

Under NDIS guidelines, transport funding is provided exclusively for the participant and where applicable, their designated carer. This ensures that support is focused on the individual’s needs and is compliant with NDIS requirements.

​Please note that if additional passengers are present in the vehicle during the journey, they will not be covered under NDIS funding, and a separate fee will be applied for each extra person.

We kindly ask all participants and their carers to inform us of any additional passengers at the time of booking to ensure accurate fare calculation and compliance with NDIS policies. Our team is committed to providing a safe, reliable, and supportive transport service for all passengers.

​The charge for additional passengers will be a flat fee based on distance.

Rates, Fare Calculation and Payment

Our rates are simple, clear, and designed to offer genuine value. All fares are calculated based on:

  • Distance travelled

  • Time required

  • Level of support needed

We apply a minimum charge of 1 hour and all services are billed door to door.

For NDIS participants, our pricing aligns with the NDIS Price Guide, where applicable. Our services can be funded through NDIS Core Supports, subject to your plan and goals. See below for the current NDIS Price Guide.

 

Please note: 

If your pickup location is more than 15 minutes from our Head Office in Darra (1 Westlink Court, Darra Qld 4076), additional travel time will be included in the fare calculation.

We accept private payment and NDIS-funded payments, depending on your plan and arrangements.

Regular & One-Off Transport

We offer two types of transport services to meet your needs:

  • Regular ongoing transport, such as school runs or weekly appointments.

  • One-off or occasional trips, ideal for changing schedules or special outings.

We also accommodate full-day bookings. Please advise your Support Coordinator at the time of booking so we can ensure the right arrangements are in place.

Age Requirement

Our transport services are designed for high school students and older.

We welcome all passengers in this age group and ensure they travel safely and comfortably, with our friendly, experienced drivers providing the support they need along the way.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. To help us manage our schedule and continue providing reliable service, we require at least 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.

  • The applicable fee depends on the amount of notice provided.

  • Full details of cancellation fees are supplied at the time of booking.

Safety

Your Safety Is Our Priority

All Link Into Life drivers are committed to providing a safe, reliable, and supportive transport experience. Every driver:

  • Holds all required state licences and clearances.

  • Has experience supporting children and people living with disability.

  • Is fully insured.

  • Operates a vehicle that is regularly maintained and safety-checked.

  • Carries a fully equipped first aid kit.

In the event of an accident, all vehicles are fully insured, and clear safety and incident procedures are in place to ensure participant wellbeing at all times.

Mobility Aids and Equipment

Our vehicles are not modified for specialised mobility equipment. However, we can safely accommodate foldable wheelchairs, walkers and similar portable mobility aids.

Please ensure that any equipment is folded and secured for transport and advise us at the time of booking so we can make the necessary arrangements.
